In 2008 Tesco launched their sponsorship of the FA Skills programme with a massive national roadshow.
3 Tesco FA Skills Roadshow travelled around England visiting over 57 venues spreading the word about the ‘skills revolution’ while providing kids with a fun taster experience of the Skills programme and making sure that tens of thousands signed up to the website.
All those that attended a roadshow event had the chance to win a place at a private coaching session with Frank Lampard and Kelly Smith.
A total of 150 places were up for grabs for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity open to 5-11 year old boys and girls across the UK.
GLOBALGAMES®SPORTS worked with Tesco and the FA to design and build the most appropriate range of games and activities to supplement and assist the aims of the tour.
This culminated in 3 separate touring Roadshows each consisting of:
1 x Speed Cage; 1 x Target Cage; 1 x Covered Skills Arena; 1 x Fully Branded Trailer and all staffing, logistics and Roadshow Management
